Hosting a race requires a great deal of effort. Running a great race requires input from our participants so we can up our game, so to speak. You can only offer so many shirts, medals and similar courses before you lose your appeal. Each year we try to reinvent our races, offering sports bags, stylish medals and other food/refreshment options to keep our races fresh. Your input is important. Help us help you.

Hindsight is 20/20
Despite losing 4 of its races this year, RunCK remains strong, hosting 9 races in the area this year. With the loss of the Pumpkin Run, The Run for Mental Health, Neon Nights and the YMCA Fun Run, there is ample opportunity to participate in the other offerings through CK and our neighbouring areas. The St. Clair River Run is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and is offering a 1/2 marathon for the first time. WAMBO River Run may be long gone but the Shamrocks and Shenanigans Run is an excellent replacement run. The Hike for Hospice has added a 5k option this year. The Sodbuster and the Harvest Run always have good crowds and there is an ultra in the works (details to follow).
